After winning a Jackpot of tickets at Brighton Pier, I was asked to stop playing on the machines.

Hospitality

After spending 5 years manning the Bar in the beautifully located FJB Haven Hotel in Sandbanks, Dorset, Jason joined Platinum’s Pubs and Bars division in August 2015.  After relocating from Carlisle, Jason quickly worked his way up through the ranks to Bars Manager.  Looking for a change of vocation whilst keeping it in line with his hospitality career to date he joined the Pubs and Bars division and is using his experience to help recruit into the industry he loves.

Social

As a Northern boy, venturing down from Carlisle (No its not in Scotland, or Wales)  it can sometimes be a little tough down south, even the waters different! You can normally find me playing or watching some type of sport or trying to avoid going on long walks with the girlfriend. When I’m not in work I do enjoy a nice BBQ on the Beach with friends and family. Coming from a family with 2 brothers there tends to be some over competitive beach cricket going on.

Why Platinum

After spending 5 or so years managing a beautiful hotel in Poole, the time came for a change. After hearing and having previous experience from a customer’s point of view I knew Platinum would be the right choice for the next stage of my career! From the moment I walked in everything has been fantastic, from the amazing Friday breakfast to the monthly staff socials! The weekly highlight is always Monday night football…a couple of the managers aren’t the best losers!
