Andy joined Platinum Recruitment in 2008 after a successful career with some of the UK’s best-known industry figures. From the 2 Michelin star Midsummer House, Le Manoir and Marcus Wareing’s Petrus, Andy has fantastic knowledge of the Elite side of our industry and has been instrumental in building the in-house Elite division.

After joining as a junior recruiter, Andy was promoted to Partner in 2012, company Director in 2015 and became a Director/Owner in 2019.

Andy, along with our two other Directors, is part of our Leadership team driving our expanding Recruitment business.

Social

Outside of Platinum, I like to keep active playing football 3 to 4 times a week. I love living in Bournemouth but when I’m looking for a getaway with my family I can be mainly found in Cornwall or Devon on a Surf/camping trip or in the winter on a Snowboarding holiday. My favourite place to be apart from Bournemouth is Bali where I proposed to my wife. Luckily she said yes!

I love working at Platinum because it’s given me so many opportunities over the years to progress in my career within an industry I love. Platinum is always evolving as a company and to be part of something constantly looking to better itself is really exciting. I love the vibe at Platinum, everyone works really hard and in reward we have some amazing socials which is always followed by a few funny stories the next day.
