Meet Andy Sinclair, Owner and Director at Platinum Recruitment.
With a hospitality background spanning Michelin-starred kitchens and senior leadership, Andy brings first-hand industry experience to the business and has played a major role in Platinum’s growth since joining in 2008.
Andy Sinclair joined Platinum in 2008 after building his career in some of the UK’s most respected hospitality venues. His experience includes the two Michelin-starred Midsummer House, Le Manoir and Marcus Wareing’s Petrus.
That background gave Andy a strong understanding of high-end hospitality and helped him play a key role in developing Platinum’s Elite division.
Andy started at Platinum as a junior recruiter and progressed quickly. He became a Partner in 2012, Company Director in 2015 and Director and Owner in 2019.
Today, Andy is part of Platinum’s Leadership team and helps drive the direction and continued growth of the business.
Outside work, Andy loves spending time with his children and is heavily involved in coaching his sons’ football team.
He is a keen golfer, a big snowboarding fan and happiest when he can get outdoors, whether that means a fishing trip, camping somewhere scenic or heading to the mountains.
Food is another big interest. Andy loves discovering new restaurants, cuisines and culinary experiences, especially when there is a chance to try something a little different. Live music is high on the list too, and he has even volunteered at Glastonbury Festival.
