Not a usual fan of cycling shorts, Emma has cycled 300 miles along the Nile in Egypt and another 300 miles from London to Paris.

Career

Emma’s career in marketing began in France in 2013, where she pursued a Diplôme de Français Professionnel. Her first marketing role was in Communications and Marketing at a golf club, hotel, and restaurant. Three years later, Emma became a freelance book publicist for a UK-based publishing house. Over five years, she oversaw the Children’s and Young Adult imprints and created book launch videos, social media campaigns and websites for authors.

Relocating back to Britain, Emma joined the Platinum team in 2021. Today, as Digital Marketing Manager, she oversees all digital strategy including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media campaigns and more!

When Emma isn’t immersed in the world of marketing, she’s often found exploring the stunning Hampshire and Dorset coastlines. Whether it’s discovering cosy coastal cafes or embarking on long walks with her bearded dog, Olly, she always finds time for outdoor adventures. She also cherishes quality time with her daughter, Isla, sharing passions like horse riding, paper crafts, and picnics on the beach.

In those quieter moments, Emma finds solace in lifting weights at the gym and unwinding in the sauna. And when she seeks a creative outlet, she turns to her latest obsession; her ukulele!
