Alastair’s career began in the heart of Bournemouth’s vibrant hospitality scene. After four years managing some of the city’s most popular venues, he craved a new challenge while staying true to his industry love.

That’s when Alastair joined Platinum in 2017. He started in the pubs and bars division, where his talent for recruitment shone brightly. Today, he’s an integral part of our Chef’s team, leveraging his deep understanding of the industry to connect the perfect candidates with the perfect opportunities.

Alastair’s a highly skilled recruiter with a proven track record. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for helping people thrive in the world of hospitality.

“I come from a large family, so it’s no surprise that I’m a competitive person. I love nothing more than a good game of tennis, especially against my brothers. I’m the self-proclaimed “Crawford Family Tennis Champion,” and I’m always up for a challenge.

When I’m not playing tennis, I love to travel. I’ve been to some amazing places all over the world, from the French Alps to the black sea beaches of Turkey. I love trying new things and experiencing different cultures.

My better half and I are also passionate about food. We love visiting new restaurants and trying new dishes. We’re always on the lookout for the next great culinary experience.”
