This role offers a genuine lifestyle opportunity, with most shifts starting around 1pm, quieter off-peak periods and an annualised contract that gives you significant time off during December and January.

This position would suit a committed Chef looking to step away from the pressures of a high-volume city kitchen while still leading a quality food operation. Key Responsibilities:

As Head Chef, you’ll oversee the day-to-day kitchen operation while ensuring consistently high standards.

• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver quality dishes
• Develop menus with a balance of creativity, customer appeal and cost control
• Manage stock ordering and minimise wastage
• Maintain food hygiene and safety standards at all times
• Train and mentor junior kitchen team members
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure excellent guest experiences
• Support the wider park operation during busy periods

What we’re looking for:

The ideal Head Chef will be looking for a more balanced and relaxed pace of life while still taking pride in delivering quality food.

• Previous experience leading a kitchen team
• Strong organisational and stock management skills
• Passion for fresh food and consistent standards
• A calm and positive leadership style
• Someone comfortable working peak seasonal periods with quieter off-peak months
• Due to the rural location near Salisbury, a driving licence and access to transport is essential
