We’re recruiting a Chef at ATC Pirbright to work within a well-organised military kitchen, offering consistent weekend shifts and excellent hourly pay. This is a great opportunity for a disciplined and reliable kitchen professional who enjoys structure, with the potential to move into a permanent role.

• £14.88 per hour plus £1.80 holiday pay (first 12 weeks)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Chef in this role, you’ll support a smooth and efficient kitchen by:

• Running your own section within a structured kitchen environment
• Preparing and presenting meals to consistent, high standards
• Organising mise en place to ensure efficient service
• Supporting and supervising junior kitchen staff
• Maintaining strict food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Monitoring stock levels, portion control, and waste
• Working closely with the team to maintain consistency and efficiency

What we’re looking for:

To succeed as a Chef, you’ll bring:

• Solid experience, ideally as a Chef de Partie
• Ability to work well within a structured, disciplined environment
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards
• Confidence supporting junior team members
• A reliable and professional approach
