What you’ll be doing:
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering varied and exciting food offerings across multiple services – from private functions and member events to large regattas and seasonal dining. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and help lead the kitchen team in delivering consistent, high-quality cuisine.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Leading junior chefs and maintaining kitchen standards
Assisting with menu development and event catering
Ensuring food hygiene and safety compliance
Managing stock, ordering, and kitchen organisation
Taking charge in the Head Chef’s absence
What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a skilled and passionate chef with:
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie
Excellent leadership skills and a calm, organised approach
A flair for menu planning and working with seasonal ingredients
A strong understanding of kitchen compliance and best practices
