What you’ll be doing
As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll support the Head Chef across a varied operation, preparing everything from restaurant dining to weddings, conferences, and banqueting.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Running your own section during prep and service
- Supporting the senior kitchen team across multiple kitchens
- Preparing fresh dishes to a consistently high standard
- Assisting with stock control, portion control, and minimising waste
- Maintaining Food Safety and HACCP standards
- Training and supporting junior members of the brigade
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie ready to step up or an existing Junior Sous Chef
- Fresh food experience within a busy hotel or events operation
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A positive attitude with the ability to work under pressure
- Passion for quality food and career development
