Charity of the Month – Prostate Cancer UK

Here at Platinum Recruitment we strongly believe in supporting life-changing charities and giving back in the form of a cash donation. Our fantastic staff donate their own money every month and this is then matched by the company. The team each nominate which charity they would like to receive the monthly donation; a winning staff member is then selected at random and the donation is made to their chosen charity.

Our lucky winner for this month is Jason Reed from Platinum Recruitment’s Pubs and Bars Division. Jason’s charity of choice is Prostate Cancer UK and a sizeable £250 donation has been made in his name.

Prostate Cancer UK are investing in research for improved diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Although the diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer has come a long way over the past two decades, over 11,000 men in the UK die from prostate cancer each year.

This dedicated charity is committed to providing support for men with prostate cancer. Their specialist nurses offer free advice for anyone with questions about the disease. Prostate Cancer UK also shares information and support from local, online and one to one support groups.
