We’re looking for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join a well-established coastal venue on the Isle of Wight for the busy summer season through to the end of September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with quality ingredients, learn from an experienced team, and take the next step in your culinary career while enjoying a stunning seaside location.

As a Junior Sous Chef, you’ll play an important role in a fast-paced kitchen that takes pride in delivering great food and memorable guest experiences. With live-in accommodation available and plenty of opportunities to develop your skills, this is the perfect role for a chef looking for a rewarding seasonal position.

Key Responsibilities

As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll support the smooth running of the kitchen by:

• Assisting in the preparation and service of high-quality dishes
• Maintaining excellent standards of presentation and consistency
• Supporting menu development and daily specials
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and kitchen compliance standards are met
• Working closely with the wider team to deliver an exceptional guest experience
• Helping to train and support junior members of the brigade
