We’re looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Sous Chef to help lead our skilled kitchen team at this Boutique Hotel near Hull.

Key responsibilities
As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Senior Sous and Head Chef, leading from the front. Your duties will include:

• Supporting the Senior Sous and Head Chef with the smooth operation of all kitchen services
• Maintaining high standards across food quality, presentation, and consistency
• The ability to follow recipes while adding energy and precision to every dish
• Making sure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are kept
• Support managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
• Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
