Key Responsibilities:
As a Chef in Lincoln, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and running a designated kitchen section
- Preparing and presenting dishes to quality standards
- Organising mise en place and ensuring smooth service
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Monitoring stock, reducing waste, and controlling portions
- Working with the team to maintain consistency and efficiency
What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking Chefs who have:
- Strong cooking skills in their specific section
- Consistency and attention to detail in food quality and presentation
- Good time management and the ability to perform under pressure
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Leadership skills to supervise and support junior staff
- Teamwork and clear communication with other kitchen sections
- Organisation and discipline in mise en place
- Reliability and professionalism (punctual, calm, accountable)
- Cost awareness, including portion control and minimal waste
