Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established restaurant their search for an experienced Chef de partie that is also skilled with using a Wok. This busy and well-known site serves up a selection of Southeast Asian dishes to its loyal clientele. They would like to take the site to the “next level”, increasing the number of covers and the dining experience, adding a bar menu and wine pairings.
Our client’s ethos is to cook traditional Asian cuisine using modern techniques. They have a true passion for Hampshire ingredients paired with imported spices from China, Malaysia and Thailand.
You must have experience with cooking with a wok and understand Pan Asian cuisine.

For this position, you should understand Southeast Asian culture and cooking methods, particularly with the Chinese wok. It’s also important to be well organised and have great attention to detail.
As a Wok chef you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring that every dish is executed with precision and flair. The ideal candidate will have proven experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes.
You will be collaborating closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality that aligns with our client’s standards.
