A great opportunity has become available for a Bar Supervisor to join a luxury hotel in the New Forest. This role is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional looking to develop their career within a premium bar and lounge operation, delivering exceptional service to guests.

As Bar Supervisor, you’ll support the smooth running of the bar operation while helping to lead and motivate the team. The role is also commutable from Bournemouth and Southampton, offering an excellent lifestyle location alongside career progression.

Key responsibilities:

As Bar Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in maintaining high standards across the hotel’s bar and lounge areas.

• Supporting the Bar Manager with daily operations
• Supervising and developing the bar team
• Delivering excellent guest service at all times
• Ensuring high standards of drinks preparation and presentation
• Sharing knowledge of wines, cocktails and premium beverages
• Helping to maintain smooth service during busy periods
• Supporting stock control and operational standards

What we’re looking for:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of luxury drinks service.

• Previous experience in a luxury or 5-star hotel environment is essential
• Experience supervising a bar team
• Good knowledge of cocktails, wines and beverage trends
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
• Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences
