WHERE CAN I FIND EVENT WORK?

RACECOURSES

Platinum Recruitment works with several world-renowned sporting and events venues across the UK, including various racecourses. We build teams of hospitality professionals to join us at some of the largest events within the annual racing calendar at Cheltenham, Newbury, Wincanton and Exeter, including the annual Cheltenham Festival.

The perks of taking on racecourse shifts are arguably plenty. Previously, racecourse temporary staff have been known to earn competitive pay and great tips. This, coupled with the chance to gain the skills needed to build a career in hospitality, is why candidates have been eager to join us at racecourses across the country, year after year. So, why not you?

HOW DO I APPLY FOR EVENT JOBS?

After registering your interest, a consultant will be in touch. We aim to make contact within 48 hours. However, please bear with us as we deal with a high volume of enquiries.

Calls will consist of a short, interview-style chat. An online registration document will then be sent by email to complete using an online portal called GetAccept. Potential candidates will be required to send proof of right-to-work documents by email. Documents requested will depend on a candidate’s immigration status.

Once registration is complete, candidates will gain full access to our jobs list and receive frequent updates about new, available jobs in their area. We will continue to work closely with all candidates, from the first call to booking shifts and getting paid.

Additional information for international applicants: Candidates may also need to provide a copy of their university term timetable letter to support their registration for work. This document can be requested from student services at your university. To make the process quicker, it is helpful to have this document prepared to send along with other right-to-work documents.
