Key Responsibilities

As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll support the senior kitchen team in delivering exceptional food, maintaining high standards and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

• Support the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in delivering consistent, high-quality food

• Assist with the day-to-day running of the kitchen

• Support and supervise junior chefs and kitchen porters during preparation and service

• Help maintain a positive, organised and collaborative kitchen environment

• Cover breakfast duties when required

• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and allergen regulations

• Maintain excellent food quality, presentation and consistency during busy services

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a passionate Chef who is ready to take on more responsibility and help lead a professional kitchen team.

• Experience working in an AA Rosette-awarded establishment

• Confidence working across all kitchen sections, including food preparation

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• A commitment to excellent food quality, preparation and presentation

• The ability to support, coach and develop junior team members

• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively under pressure

• Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role would be advantageous
