Catering Assistant – Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm at £15.07 per hour including holiday pay

We’re recruiting a Catering Assistant to support a busy workplace in Witney, Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic Monday to Friday role, working 7:00am to 3:00pm, giving you your evenings and weekends free. This position offers a 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate. Due to the location of the site, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys being active and takes pride in delivering excellent Catering support.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll play an important part in keeping workplace refreshment services running smoothly by:

• Replenishing vending machines across two buildings
• Cleaning and maintaining coffee machines to a high standard
• Monitoring stock levels and carrying out stock control
• Receiving, storing and rotating deliveries
• Ensuring vending and refreshment areas remain clean, tidy and fully stocked
• Providing excellent customer service when assisting staff and visitors
• Carrying out regular manual handling, including heavy lifting throughout the day

What we’re looking for

To succeed, you’ll ideally have:

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular heavy lifting
• The ability to work independently across multiple buildings
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive, reliable attitude with strong customer service skills
• Previous experience in Catering, hospitality or a similar environment is beneficial but not essential
