Working closely with an experienced Head Chef, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high culinary standards while helping to shape and develop the menu. Key Responsibilities

As Sous Chef, you’ll support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen while ensuring exceptional food quality throughout service.

• Assist the Head Chef with the overall management of the kitchen
• Maintain high food quality and presentation standards
• Support the team in achieving and exceeding rosette-level expectations
• Train, mentor and develop junior kitchen team members
• Ensure consistency across all sections during service
• Help drive creativity and innovation within the menu offering

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a strong culinary environment
• Experience working to rosette standards is highly desirable
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Passion for fresh food and attention to detail
• A positive and proactive approach to kitchen operations
• Commutable from Southampton and surrounding areas
