This Chef role in Basingstoke offers the chance to work in a friendly and relaxed environment where quality food and work life balance are genuinely valued. Based in central Basingstoke, you’ll be leading a small kitchen team while helping to raise the standard of fresh food service in a quieter hospitality setting within easy reach of Reading.

Key Responsibilities:

As the kitchen lead, you’ll be responsible for all day-to-day kitchen management duties, including:

• Leading the kitchen operation and maintaining standards
• Managing ordering, stock control, and kitchen organisation
• Preparing and serving fresh pub-style food
• Supporting and developing the food offering to a higher standard
• Working closely with the Head Chef support cover arrangement for days off and weekends
• Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained
