We’re recruiting a Sous Chef to join an established and highly regarded 4 star hotel in Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for their first Sous Chef role or a well established Sous Chef looking for a new challenge.

Key responsibilities
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and leading from the front. Your duties will include:

• Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth operation of all kitchen services
• Maintaining high standards across food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Overseeing food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
• Managing stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
• Training, mentoring, and developing junior team members
• Taking full responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence

What we’re looking for
This role would suit an experienced Sous Chef or a Junior Sous looking for their first Sous Chef role, who thrives in a quality-focused environment.
