Salary: £35,000 – £40,000

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a high end & modern venue focused on quality Indian and South Asian Cuisine. This is a great opportunity for a talented Sous Chef looking to build their portfolio and lead a brigade of specialist chefs.

What’s involved?

As a Sous Chef you will lead from the front motivating the team around you and have high standards and knowledge of H&S. you will also be responsible for;

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting authentic curries using a Karahi and traditional techniques.
• Developing rich sauces, marinades, and spice blends for authentic flavors.
• Managing stock levels of spices, pastes, and fresh produce.
• Monitoring cooking to ensure perfection, balancing heat and spice.
• Collaborating on new menu items while preserving tradition.
• Ensuring strict hygiene and food safety.
• Overseeing prep work, including chopping, marinating, and portioning efficiently.
