Key Responsibilities:

As Sous Chef, you’ll play a key role in supporting the kitchen operation and delivering high-quality fresh food across busy services.

• Support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Prepare and deliver fresh, homemade dishes to a high standard
• Assist with seasonal menu ideas and daily specials
• Lead the kitchen team during busy services
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
• Support functions, private events, and busy Sunday services
• Help manage stock control and kitchen organisation

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a Sous Chef who enjoys working with fresh food in a fast-paced but supportive environment.

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef
• Passion for quality fresh food and seasonal ingredients
• Calm and organised during busy services
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Experience within a fresh food pub or restaurant environment
• Reliable, motivated, and keen to progress within a growing business
