Key Responsibilities

As a Night Porter, you’ll help ensure the hotel runs smoothly and guests receive a friendly, efficient service. Your duties will include:

• Providing reception cover and responding to guest requests.
• Serving guests at the bar and cleaning and restocking the bar after service.
• Cleaning tables, hoovering and mopping the reception area.
• Setting up breakfast using clear guides to help you get everything in the right place.
• Preparing breakfast items using the oven or microwave, with cooking guides provided.
• Setting up and resetting conference and function rooms in line with function sheets and room plans.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone dependable, adaptable and happy to get stuck into a variety of tasks.

• A friendly and helpful approach to guest service.
• A reliable attitude and good attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and manage different tasks throughout a shift.
• Previous Hotel or customer service experience would be beneficial.
• A flexible approach to working across different areas of the operation.
