About the Role
Are you an experienced Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, or ambitious Sous Chef looking for a fresh challenge? We are recruiting a Kitchen Manager to lead the team at our busy, friendly holiday park pub in Plucks Gutter, Kent.
Live-in accommodation is provided, making this a brilliant opportunity if you’re looking to relocate or save on travel costs! Our kitchen focuses on serving quality pub classics to holidaymakers, locals, and visitors. You will have full autonomy over daily kitchen operations, specials, stock control, and building your kitchen team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen management, food prep, and service.
- Cook and present high-quality fresh food in a busy pub environment.
- Manage stock control, ordering, GP margins, and wastage.
- Lead, train, and schedule the kitchen staff and line cooks.
- Maintain strict Food Safety, HACCP, and Health & Safety standards.
Requirements (Experience as a Kitchen Manager, Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Lead Cook.
- Background in fresh food preparation and pub catering.
- Solid grasp of kitchen hygiene, food safety regulations, and cost control / GP.
- Ability to handle busy high-season rushes in a holiday park pub setting.
- Good communication skills and a positive, lead-by-example attitude.
