Head Housekeeper – Bristol | Temporary and Immediate start + Live-In Accommodation

Are you an experienced Head Housekeeper looking for your next opportunity? We’re recruiting for a hands-on Head Housekeeper to join a welcoming hotel in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading a team, maintaining high standards and being involved in the day-to-day operation of a busy housekeeping department.

With live-in accommodation provided, a competitive hourly rate and a predominantly Monday-Friday working pattern, this could be an ideal opportunity for someone available to start immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

You’ll take ownership of the daily housekeeping operation, ensuring rooms and public areas are maintained to an excellent standard.

• Manage daily cleaning operations and inspect guest rooms.
• Maintain brand standards and follow standard operating procedures.
• Lead, motivate and develop the housekeeping team.
• Ensure all training and competency records are up to date.
• Support with room servicing when required.
• Demonstrate flexibility to cover the occasional weekend.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a hands-on manager who takes pride in delivering excellent standards and can confidently lead a team.

• Previous Hotel housekeeping supervisory or management experience is essential.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Confident using Opera and similar property management systems (PMS).
• Immediately available, with no notice period or pre-booked holidays.
