Your new role

As Head Chef, you’ll take ownership of the complete kitchen operation and lead a motivated brigade. Based near Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, you’ll create seasonal menus using quality regional produce while helping the restaurant deliver memorable dining experiences.

You will:

• Lead, coach and inspire the kitchen team
• Create seasonal menus using fresh, locally sourced ingredients
• Maintain consistently high standards of food and presentation
• Manage food costs, stock control, wastage and profitability
• Recruit, train and develop kitchen team members
• Maintain excellent food safety, HACCP and hygiene standards
• Introduce new dishes and continually improve the food offering
• Work closely with senior culinary and operational leaders
• Create a positive kitchen culture focused on quality and development

What we’re looking for

The successful Head Chef will combine strong leadership skills with genuine creativity and commercial awareness. Previous experience within a quality restaurant, hotel or Rosette-standard operation would be ideal.

You’ll also need:

• Proven experience leading and developing a kitchen team
• Strong menu-planning and recipe-development skills
• Good knowledge of food costing, stock control and kitchen profitability
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP, allergens and food safety
• A positive, hands-on leadership style
• The ability to maintain standards during busy services
• The existing right to live and work in the UK
