Featuring a refurbished restaurant, the hotel offers diners a selection of tasty British gastro pub-style dishes to enjoy whilst looking out over the manicured gardens, with breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea, and dinner menus available. The hotel is also able to cater for C&B for up to 150 covers, including weddings.
Staff live in accommodation is available with this position (subject to availability), should you be relocating from outside the area.
What’s involved?
Responsible for leading a dynamic kitchen team of chefs at this refurbished hotel in Surrey, our client is looking for an experienced Head Chef to take the reins of its kitchen operation.
As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of the kitchen operation with previous experience in cost control, stock management, budgeting, and hygiene compliance; ensuring company standards are met. The Head Chef must be an excellent communicator with strong leadership skills and a hands on approach, managing staff performance, training and rota’s.
You will have a passion for creating enticing menus that are cost-effective, yet profitable, using a variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients.
