We’re recruiting a Catering Assistant to support a variety of hospitality sites in Arbroath. This is a flexible role offering a mixture of day and evening shifts, working 7-hour shifts between 6:30am and 8:30pm on a 5 days out of 7 rota. Due to the location of some sites, you must be able to drive and have access to your own transport. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and gaining experience across different Catering environments while maintaining a great work-life balance in Arbroath.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be involved in day-to-day hospitality support, including:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks
• Supporting service and front of house operations
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
• Providing friendly, professional customer service

What we’re looking for

To succeed, you’ll ideally bring:

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• A positive team-focused attitude and good communication skills
• High standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Physical stamina for a busy working environment
• Flexibility to work a rota including early and late shifts
• The ability to stay calm under pressure
• Strong attention to detail, especially around food safety
• A genuine customer service focus
