Catering Assistant – Full-time hours at £14.24 per hour including holiday pay

We’re recruiting a Catering Assistant to support a Contract Catering site in Arbroath. This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, with a mixture of day and evening shifts. You’ll work 7-hour shifts between 6:30am and 8:30pm, so flexible availability across the week is essential. Due to the location of the site, you must be able to drive and have access to your own transport.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be involved in day-to-day hospitality support, including:

• Assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks
• Supporting service and front of house operations
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Receiving and storing deliveries correctly
• Providing friendly, professional customer service

What we’re looking for

To succeed, you’ll ideally bring:

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Flexible availability to work 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis
• Availability for both early and late shifts between 6:30am and 8:30pm
• A positive team-focused attitude and good communication skills
• High standards of hygiene and cleanliness
• Physical stamina for a busy working environment
• The ability to stay calm under pressure
• Strong attention to detail, especially around food safety
• A genuine customer service focus
