We are recruiting a Breakfast Chef to join a beautiful hotel and restaurant just four miles from Arundel. Set in the heart of the South Downs, this unique venue features walled gardens, flint-and-timber charm, and its own vineyard, creating a true plot-to-plate dining experience. You’ll focus on delivering high-quality breakfast service using fresh, seasonal ingredients, working within a supportive brigade and positive kitchen culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie looking for better work-life balance, easily commutable from Worthing.

Key Responsibilities
As a Breakfast Chef, you’ll be responsible for delivering a smooth and high-quality morning service.
* Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients
* Set up and organise the kitchen for breakfast service
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
* Manage your section efficiently during morning service
* Support the wider kitchen team as required

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated chef who enjoys early starts and a structured service.
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Breakfast Chef in a professional kitchen
* Strong understanding of breakfast service and fresh food preparation
* Ability to manage your own section confidently
* Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
* Enjoy working as part of a supportive brigade
* Keen to learn, develop, and progress your career
