Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will assist the Facilities Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of all maintenance and facilities across the resort, including energy management and compliance:
- Support the Facilities Manager in leading the Facilities Team in daily maintenance activities, service standards, and scheduling
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to schedule maintenance for accommodation, public areas, grounds, and staff facilities
- Develop systems to guarantee the safety and wellbeing of Guests and Team Members, along with compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist in planning preventative maintenance programs and oversee contractor performance
- Maintain all resort fixtures and fittings, ensuring safety and addressing any unsafe conditions promptly
- Coordinate refurbishment projects, including scope, costs, and overseeing contractors to ensure quality and value
- Monitor KPIs for the Facilities Department, taking action to improve performance
- Keep asset registers, servicing records, and activity logs up to date
- Ensure compliance with company policies, property regulations, and legal obligations
- Work closely with leadership to ensure clear communication and efficient maintenance support
- Prioritise reactive works and ensure timely completion
- Lead and develop the Facilities Team, supporting their ongoing training and performance
