We’re recruiting for a Chef to join a busy military kitchen in Kinloss, preparing high-quality meals for service personnel. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef looking for reliable hours, varied shifts and excellent hourly pay within a structured working environment.

Based in Kinloss, you’ll work as part of a professional kitchen team, delivering quality food across a range of meal services.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Chef in this military kitchen, you’ll play an important role in delivering consistent, high-quality meals:

• Manage and run your designated kitchen section
• Prepare and present dishes to the required standards
• Organise mise en place to ensure smooth service
• Supervise and support junior kitchen staff
• Maintain high food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Monitor stock, control portions and minimise waste
• Work closely with the wider team to maintain consistency and efficiency

What we’re looking for:

To succeed in this Chef role in Kinloss, you’ll need:

• Strong cooking skills, ideally with experience working at Chef de Partie level or above
• Good attention to detail and consistency in food quality
• The ability to work calmly and efficiently during busy service periods
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Strong organisation and mise en place discipline
• Reliability, professionalism and a positive attitude
