We’re looking for a reliable and guest-focused Night Porter to support the smooth overnight running of a hotel in Ashford. This varied role is ideal if you enjoy working in a busy hospitality environment, helping guests and keeping operations running smoothly throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Night Porter, you’ll help ensure guests receive a friendly and efficient service while maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment.

• Checking guests in and out of the hotel
• Setting up and clearing conference rooms, weddings and other events
• Preparing and serving room service orders
• Assisting with bar service and serving drinks
• Handling guest queries and complaints professionally
• Cleaning conference rooms and public areas
• Completing night-time fire and safety checks
• Answering telephone calls, managing reservations and supporting other front office duties

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who can deliver excellent guest service and work confidently during night shifts.

• Previous hotel night porter experience is essential
• You should be available to start an assignment immediately, ideally free from 21st to 26th October
• Experience with Opera Cloud is desirable but not essential
• A friendly, professional and guest-focused approach
• Good communication skills and confidence handling guest queries
• The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
• A flexible attitude and willingness to support different hotel departments
