Key Responsibilities
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll provide flexible support across the catering operation, including:
- Cleaning and sanitising kitchen, service and dining areas
- Assisting with food and drink service
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Taking payments using cash and cashless systems
- Operating tills and maintaining accurate sales records
- Supporting kitchen duties and assisting with washing up
- Replenishing stock and storing deliveries
- Completing essential hygiene records and administration
What we’re looking for
To be successful in this Catering Assistant role, you’ll need:
- A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate – essential
- Previous catering or hospitality experience
- A strong understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness
- A friendly, professional approach to customer service
- The ability to work reliably every Saturday and Sunday
- Good attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team
