Hours: 40 hours per week (alternate weekends required, no evening shifts)

This home is known for delivering exceptional care in a supportive, team-led environment. They are now seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join their kitchen team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare fresh, nutritious meals using quality ingredients
• Support the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen
• Assist with seasonal menu development and food presentation
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness
• Help train and mentor junior kitchen staff
• Cater for up to 100 residents with varied dietary needs

About You:

You’ll be a skilled and enthusiastic chef with experience in a similar role, ideally in a care or healthcare setting (though this is not essential). You’re confident working as part of a team, take pride in your food, and are motivated by making a difference to residents’ lives.
