The hotel restaurant is catered for by a kitchen team of 7 chefs, serving an average of 60-80 covers per evening, with varying numbers at the weekend.
The hotel has 2 small function rooms, able to cater for buffet lunches up to 40 covers.
Please note, accommodation is not available with this role, therefore you should only apply if you are able to commute to the Bridgwater area on a daily basis.
What’s involved?
Our client is looking for a passionate and driven Commis Chef to join their kitchen team. Working closely with our Head Chef, you’ll assist the senior chefs with food preparation and cooking dishes for all areas of the hotel, ensuring consistency and that high standards of quality and food hygiene are met at all times.
Previous kitchen experience is essential for this role; whether you are a Kitchen Porter looking to take the next step in your career as a chef, or you’re a Commis Chef already looking for a new kitchen to learn in; this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career in a professional kitchen.
