Platinum Recruitment are assisting a well established boarding school in Dorset. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of a vital part of the school, ensuring students and staff enjoy high-quality meals.

Monday – Friday (37.4 hrs a week)

This role requires a minor vetting process and the completion of an Enhanced DBS to the successful candidate.

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
• Operating dish-washing machinery and ensuring all items are cleaned efficiently.
• Undertaking general cleaning duties within the kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Supporting the chefs with various tasks as required.

What we’re looking for:

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• The ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
• A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is desirable but not essential.
• A basic understanding of food hygiene practices is an advantage.
