Salary / Rate of pay: £19.00 per hour

Platinum Recruitment are supporting a busy hotel in Newcastle upon Tyne, just a short walk from Newcastle train station and we have an opportunity for a Temporary Chef de Partie on an ad-hoc, temporary basis.

Our client is part of a nationwide group of hotels. Situated just a short walk from Newcastle train station, this is a flexible, ad hoc temporary role for a Chef de Partie who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys variety in their work.

You will work ad-hoc, straight shifts, when required, which will be a minimum of 8 hours per day so this would suit someone who is looking for flexible work in the Newcastle area, around other commitments.

What’s involved?

As a Temporary Chef de Partie, you must be confident to work across all sections of the kitchen, where required. You will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of food preparation and presentation, supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods, whilst ensuring that all health and safety and food hygiene standards are met.

The Temporary Chef de Partie must be able to commute to the Newcastle area daily, as accommodation is not available.
