School Chef – Up to £21.50 phr inc holiday pay – paid every Friday – Chelmsford

We are seeking dedicated & temporary Chef De Partie, Chef or Head Chef to join our clients (Education settings) in and around the Chelmsford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced School or Care Home Chef to join our clients, where you will be required to cook delicious and fresh meals for their students.

You require a valid enhanced DBS certificate on the child barred service dated within the last 2 years or on the update service for this role (platinum employment can support you with this, the DBS will then be yours to keep)

• Weekly paid – Every Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
• Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are met
• Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen
• Working as part of a team

Essential Requirements:

• A valid enhanced Child barred DBS check, dated within the last 2 years or on the update service.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
• Ideally a food allergen certificate (can be completed through Platinum Employment)
• Full UK Driving licence and car would be an advantage
• Previous experience as a chef or cook in a Care or Education setting
