What you’ll be doing:
As a Sous Chef in Yeovil, you’ll be batch cooking meals for the staff restaurant on a rotating schedule of earlies, lates, and longer/shorter day shifts. You’ll also have the opportunity to work additional hours at events, bringing a more restaurant-style approach to your cooking.
Your key responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver high-quality meals for daily service
Support in planning and executing event functions
Maintain food hygiene and safety standards
Work collaboratively as part of a large catering team
Contribute ideas to improve menus and service

Previous experience in a chef or sous chef role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
A team player with a positive attitude
Flexibility to adapt between batch cooking and plated service
