Key Responsibilities:
As Reception Manager, you will:
- Oversee daily reception operations and service standards
- Train, coach and motivate the reception team
- Manage the reservations system and ensure booking accuracy
- Control departmental budgets and labour costs
- Handle guest queries and complaints professionally
- Ensure health & safety compliance and carry out risk assessments
- Manage room allocations, upgrades and VIP arrivals
What we’re looking for:
To be successful as a Reception Manager, you’ll need:
- Previous supervisory or head reception experience in a hotel
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and commercial awareness
- Opera system experience (essential)
- Previous IHG experience (desirable)
