Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and executing an innovative pastry menu across all outlets, including breakfast pastries, plated desserts, afternoon tea, and custom cakes for events.
  • Supervising daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
  • Overseeing production, plating, and presentation with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef and F&B team on menu development and seasonal offerings.
  • Mentoring and training other team members, fostering a positive and creative kitchen culture.
  • Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Managing pastry inventory, ordering, and cost control in line with budgetary goals.
  • Continuously innovating and staying updated on international pastry trends and techniques.

We’re looking for a skilled Pastry Chef de Partie with:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end patisserie.
  • A formal culinary or pastry arts qualification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of classical and contemporary pastry techniques.
  • Skilled in chocolate work, sugar artistry, viennoiserie, plated desserts, and cake design.
  • A passion for quality, creativity, and innovation in pastry arts.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and events.
