Our client is a new Children’s Day Nursery, located near Hendon, North London, who provide the highest quality day care for early years education for children aged 6 months – 5 years. They create a comfortable , home away from home atmosphere. The Nursery is more than just daycare; It’s about the start of every child’s education, preparation for school, and the foundation for a successful journey that goes beyond education.

What’s involved?

As the Nursery cook you will be cooking Breakfast, snacks, Lunch and tea for 84 children and 35 members of staff. All menu’s are specially created by a nutritionist to cater for all needs and dietary requirements. The nursery food menu’s are all meat free but they are pescatarian, and everything is made fresh on site. So you must have a good understanding of cooking fish/shellfish and vegetarian dishes. As the nursery cook you will be looking after all ordering, stock rotation, health and safety, risk assessment, COSHH and all kitchen management.
