Role: Meeting & Events Executive

Salary / Rate of pay: From £15.00 per hour

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular event & accommodation venue in London, and we have a fantastic opportunity for a temporary Meeting & Events Sales Executive to join their team for an ongoing placement that has the potential to lead to permanent for the right person.

What’s in it for you?

• Monday and Friday (primarily Office hours)
• Salary – From £15.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Weekly pay (paid each Friday)
• 40-hour week

What’s involved?

• Manage client relationships, develop and execute marketing strategies, whilst overseeing budgeting and forecasting
• Supervise team members, optimising the event booking system (rendezvous)and ensuring smooth delivery of all events
• Act as the client’s main point of contact on event days
• Conduct event briefings and fire safety introductions
• Check on client satisfaction throughout the event
• Coordinate with catering and internal teams for seamless service

Requirements:

• Previous experience in M&E or Sales, both proactive and reactive desired within hospitality or similar venues
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ideally, knowledge of PMS systems – Rendezvous would be advantageous
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• MUST be immediately available with no commitments, such as holidays or notice period, as we are seeking someone to start w/c 16^th June for 8 weeks minimum
