Key Responsibilities:
As part of the hotel’s leadership team, you’ll take ownership of the site’s engineering function, including:
- Overseeing daily operations, staff rotas, and task allocation
- Implementing preventative Maintenance programmes across all areas
- Managing energy usage and driving efficiency improvements
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards
- Liaising with contractors and suppliers, managing quality and budgets
- Controlling maintenance and repair spend effectively
- Carrying out regular inspections and resolving issues promptly
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Reporting progress and issues to senior management
What we’re looking for:
To succeed as a Maintenance Manager, you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment
- Strong technical knowledge of building and facility systems
- Confident leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
- A solid understanding of health and safety procedures
- Flexibility to support the operation, including evenings or weekends when required
- Experience progressing from a hands-on role such as a Shift Engineer would be highly beneficial
