Key Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in the smooth running of the Hotel by:

• Conducting routine inspections of equipment, machinery and systems
• Carrying out minor repairs and troubleshooting faulty equipment
• Supporting preventative, planned and reactive Maintenance tasks
• Assisting with general upkeep including painting, basic plumbing and carpentry
• Maintaining clean and organised work areas with safe storage of tools
• Monitoring and reporting on maintenance supplies and equipment
• Ensuring all health and safety standards are met
• Supporting with room set-ups for events
• Helping with outdoor garden work as required

What we’re looking for:

To succeed as a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in Maintenance, ideally within a Hotel or hospitality environment
• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Skills in basic electrical work, plumbing, tiling and re-decoration
• Pool plant experience or certification (desirable)
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
