Role: HR Administrator
Location: Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
Salary / Rate of pay: From £66,000 p.a. (CI$70,000 equivalent)

This an exciting opportunity, for a HR Administrator to join a well-established company who’s aim is to emerge as the leading and profitably Northern Caribbean Food Group, serving the culinary desires of the Cayman Islands, Jamaica and Bahamas.

What’s involved?

As HR Administrator your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent for various positions within the restaurant(s) and head office
  • Conduct thorough and effective interviews, reference checks, and background screenings to ensure the selection of qualified candidates.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans
  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, time and attendance records, and training records.

What’s required?

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in HR Administration or Senior, preferably in restaurants or hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees and managers
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but not required.

Ideally we require an HR Administrator who has no prior commitments or notice to give, as our client would like to have someone in place by Spring.
