This Hotel is part of a small UK group and as their only Channel Island Hotel you will have a surprisingly varied set of duties. The Hotel has 10 rooms and a high end restaurant and the property is also used for exclusive use weddings several times a year.
The second part of this multi-faceted role will be with the chef team at the onsite food led pub so there will be a huge variety on dishes served in each.
You will have nearly full autonomy on the food offering while working closely with the GM who oversees both properties
What’s involved?
As Head Chef your primary consideration will be how you motivate, manage and communicate to get the best out of the chefs under you. under you. You must be able to be adaptable as well as not being afraid to get your hands dirty.
Training and development of the kitchen teams will be a part of what you do as well as having the flair and imagination to create menus in keeping with both the hotel and pub.
