Role: General Assistant Couple

Salary / Rate of pay: From £11.00 per hour

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular 3 Star Hotel in Guernsey, and we have a fantastic opportunity for a temporary Hotel General Assistant Couple to cover during staff holidays in March.

What’s involved?

• Dates required for cover 14^th March to 20^th April 2024
• Couple will be required for Housekeeping, bar and waiting support
• 40-48 hours per week
• Accommodation and meals will be provided
• Salary from £11.00 per hour incl. holiday, depending on experience

Duties:

• Help with housekeeping tasks including cleaning rooms, changing linens, and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Possibly support the kitchen staff in food preparation, serving meals, and ensuring dining areas are clean.
• Assist with bar, taking orders and serving

Requirements:

• Preferably experienced in housekeeping, waiting, bar or hosting
• Flexible approach as there will be a requirement to work on a shift basis, including evenings and weekends
• Able to work under pressure and have a calm approach
• Immediately available during those dates with no other commitments
• Team player with a reliable and ‘can do’ attitude
• Preference would be someone or a couple local on the islands but open to candidates from the mainland
• Must have the right to work in the UK/Channel Islands (no sponsorship provided)
