Key Responsibilities:
As a Chef de Partie, you’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth and compliant kitchen service:
- Run your own section confidently within a school kitchen
- Deliver high-quality food in an efficient and organised manner
- Maintain Food Safety and Health & Safety standards at all times
- Support with food prep, temperature records and light documentation
- Assist with ordering and sensible cost control
- Help with menu ideas and stock management
- Support inventory checks and safeguard company assets
- Report any safety concerns immediately
What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a reliable and professional Chef de Partie who can hit the ground running:
- MUST hold an Enhanced DBS
- Previous experience running a section (ideal background as a Chef de Partie)
- Strong understanding of food safety compliance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Available for relief shifts across Canvey Island and surrounding areas including Southend-on-Sea
